Meet The Staff
Karen Grundy - Executive Director
Karen is responsible for the overall strategic management and development of eVOLution's services, maintaining partnerships, new services and policy development to increase the participation and support the growth of the Third Sector in Darlington.
Lynn Blewitt - Volunteer Bureau Co-ordinator
Lynn is responsible for introducing people to the voluntary sector and finding suitable voluntary opportunities for them. She liaises with voluntary organisations to develop opportunities and implement good practice.
Joanne Jones - Training Support Worker
Joanne has been our Training Support Worker since September 2005. Since then she has built up a successful training programme which is constantly changing and expanding to meet the needs of the voluntary and community sector. Joanne offers advice on training to organisations and locates suitable courses to meet their needs.
Peter Locke - Community Development Worker
Peter is responsible for advising and supporting groups to ensure they are fit for funding. This can include help with a governing document, help with relevant policies and also support with governance procedures.
Hazel Thompson - Office Manager
Hazel is responsible for the day to day operational management of the administrative functions of Evolution, as well as providing support to the Executive Director. Hazel is also responsible for the line management of the administration team.
Rebecca Tailford - Receptionist
Rebecca is the Receptionist at eVOLution. Rebecca deals with day to day enquiries which include answering the phone, filing, booking meetings and greeting visitors.
Mike Durkin - Business Manager
Mike is responsible for the Management and Development of Evolution Projects and the Evolution Service Hub. It is his role to ensure that new services, projects and activities are managed to a high standard in response to identified need and agreed strategic priorities.
Alison Harrison - Finance Officer
Alison Deals with the day to day financial requirements of eVOLution.
Anthony Stafford - IT Technician
Working as part of the Evolution Service Hub, Anthony's role is to provide ICT Support and Services to Third Sector Organisations as well as maintaining eVOLutions In House IT Systems.
Emma Gallagher - Information and Communications Officer
Emma is responsible for keeping the sector well informed. She is also responsible for the Third Sector networks and Chair and Chief Officer forums at eVOLution.
Mark Wilkes - ESV Development Worker
Mark is the Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) Development Worker at eVOLution. His role is to promote the benefits of volunteering to local private and public sector organisations and encourage them to provide their employees with opportunities to volunteer. Rebekah Burgess-Weymes - Youth Volunteer Development Worker
Rebekah is responsible for recruiting young volunteers and developing opportunites for them to volunteer.
