- identifying possible sources of funding
- explaining how to prepare applications
- discussing a funding strategy
- commenting on and helping with draft applications (but does not include writing them)
- advice on the management and monitoring of donations and grants
Information
eVOLution subscribes to Grantfinder, a database carrying in excess of 4,000 UK and EU funding programmes, loans, venture capital and advisory programmes. The Grantfinder research department produces a range of information which is constantly expanding and being updated. Funding searches can be carried out and funding reports produced. eVOLution has access to other sources of information on funding.
Funding e-bulletins which contain information on grants, awards and other relevant information are circulated on a regular basis. Paper copies of all Funding e-bulletins are available on request.
Evolution has access to a range of information sheets, documents on fundraising and governance issues and signposting to numerous sources for further information.
Before Raising Money
It is not necessary to be a registered charity but groups and organisations need to be formally constituted. Support and information is available to help groups and organisations develop these documents.
