The Children's Trust publishes a Children and Young People's Plan every three years.
The new Plan for 2011-2014 outlines priorities for all the members of the Children's Trust which will help improve outcomes for all children and young people in Darlington.
Children and Young People's Plan 2011-2014
A new Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) has been developed involving our partners and the children and young people in Darlington. The priorities for 2011-2014 have been identified using information from a comprehensive analysis of the needs of children, young people and their families in Darlington and importantly the feedback and comments received from children and young people.
The CYPP has been approved by Darlington Children's Trust and the Board meeting in May 2011 and will now be discussed by the Council's Cabinet in July 2011.

Young People Have Your Say!
The Darlington Blueprint
The Children and Young People’s Plan is a single plan that every child and young person service can link to. A strategy for everyone!
Children and Young People across the Borough have been involved in the development of the Children and Young People's Plan 2011-2014 and identifying the priorities.
As part of the process a group of young people have designed, written and produced their own CYPP Summary called BLUEPRINT. [pdf document 475kb]
This document is for young people written by young people.
The Young People of Darlington have also developed a DVD to accompany the Blueprint.
